From April 18th-22nd, members of the ALL ALS Outreach Team, Myah Stone and Hannah Carrington, attended the 2026 American Academy of Neurology (AAN) Annual Meeting in Chicago, IL. The annual meeting brought together healthcare providers, researchers, students, organizations, biotech companies, and neurology professionals from around the world for several days of learning, collaboration, networking, and scientific exchange.
Throughout the event, Myah and Hannah hosted an informative ALL ALS outreach table where they had the opportunity to connect with attendees interested in advancing ALS research. They shared information about ALL ALS, including the study’s goals, the importance of participation in ALS research, and the consortium’s commitment to accelerating discoveries through open-access data and biosample sharing.
The outreach team also networked with attending neurologists to increase clinician awareness of ALL ALS and seek out opportunities for collaboration. In addition, Myah and Hannah attended a variety of research sessions and presentations that highlighted innovative and impactful developments across neurology and neurodegenerative disease research.
Attending the AAN Annual Meeting provided an opportunity for ALL ALS to meaningfully connect with members of the neurology community, share study information and updates, and learn from the broader scientific and clinical conversations shaping the future of neurodegenerative disease research.
