From January 22nd to 24th, two members of the ALL ALS Outreach Team, Emma Goldberg and Emma Allen, as well as several other staff members, including University of California, San Diego site staff, attended the 16th Annual ALS Network Research Summit in Pasadena, CA. At the summit , ALS researchers, clinicians, biotech companies, government representatives, organizations, and community advocates, convened to network, exchange information, foster collaboration, and celebrate the progress made throughout the previous year.
At the event, Emma and Emma had the opportunity to host an educational ALL ALS table, spread awareness of the program, and cultivate valuable connections, both new and ongoing, with attendees. They also joined research sessions to learn about the incredible and innovative ALS research currently being conducted or to be conducted within the next few years.
By attending such an enriching and affirming event, ALL ALS staff were able to start the year off with a renewed passion for the coming year. ALL ALS will sustain their momentum and forge ahead with continued outreach, community engagement, and data sharing. What a welcome to 2026!
