The ALL ALS Consortium Scholars Program is a career development program designed to prepare early career investigators to become independent leaders in ALS clinical research using the considerable scientific data and samples being generated by the ALL ALS Consortium. Through structured mentorship and immersive participation in ALL ALS Consortium activities the program will cultivate the next generation of investigators capable of leading innovative, multicenter clinical studies that advance therapies for people living with and at-risk for developing ALS.
This program is meant to meaningfully integrate an understanding of practical applications of research into clinical care, the translation from clinical research to trial development, as well as increase participation and ALL ALS program development.
The program aligns with NIH and NINDS priorities to strengthen the clinical Neuroscience workforce by promoting scientific rigor, multidisciplinary collaboration, participant-centered research, and successful transition to research independence.
Scholars will complete a structured curriculum integrating consortium science, biomarker discovery, observational study methodology, leadership development, and scientific communication while supporting ALL ALS research activities.
